Subwoofer SUB-10

SUB-10, low tone speaker – a WILSON brand sub-woofer – is an item hot off the production line and a new addition to our range. The sub-woofer is active and this it includes a built-in amplifier and thus signal is filtered suing a passive or active low pass filter, splitting the primary low frequency components common to both bands. Additionally, it features the Bass Reflex system, making it perfectly suited to bolster sound in home cinema systems.

The products are available in classic white or black and thus it has the potential to fit it with any interior décor.

Dimensions of 20 x 320 x 330 mm and 11.60 kg weight mean that the sub-woofer can be located where required.

A low tone driver with a high membrane travel was used to build the device. Speaker parameters: 1x 10” (250mm). An advantage of the above solution is that excessive processing and transmission of common elements to all low frequency bands is limited.

Of course the product has a facility to adjust the sound, and this it can be configured to match individual needs and enjoy the perfect output.

The sub-woofer employs RCA (stereo) port and requires a 230 V/50 Hz (AC) power supply. Additionally an adjustable inverter is included, significantly improving the sound.

A 0-180° phase switch was used for the device. A phase change is used when adjusting sub-woofer amplitude to the speakers amplitude. When connecting the device to a home cinema set, make sure the phases of the other elements also match, so that the sound creates a cohesive whole.

The speaker is able to produce a sound frequency range of 25-150 Hz. Appropriate bandwidth delivers an intense, crisp and clear sound audible to the audience.

The WILSON brand SUB-10 max output (RMS) is 150 W. That value tells us the maximum volume the speak is able to operate on for extensive periods of time. That parameter also stands for the power consumed by the product under a heavy load.

SUB-10 is ideal as an additional element of a home cinema, constituting yet another, pure source of a powerful sound source, amplifying the effects.

Lack of low tone speakers will discernibly change the quality of the sound experience. A sub-woofer significantly expands the low tone bandwidth.
