Description

The WILSON RAPTOR 7 floor standing speaker is a new addition to our broad range of products. It is contemporary and elegant, available in black or white. The product fits in perfectly with other elements of every interior, complementing both conservative as well as extravagant spaces.

The set includes spikes insulating speaker vibrations from the surface on which it is standing as well as a user manual. Product dimensions: 1010 x 195 x 300 mm, weight: under 15 kg. This elegant and classy product will be at home in both large and small rooms.

The high quality Bass Reflex type enclosure delivers significantly better speaker performance in even the low frequency band. The quality of audible sound is also associated with the bandwidth (±3 dB) which is 40-20,000 Hz, and its sensitivity (2.83 V/1 m) is 90 dB. And, single speaker terminals further ensure that the music is crisp and clear.

The specification of inverters in the enclosure undoubtedly affects the sound quality delivered by the speaker. The Raptor 7 includes a 1″ (25mm) tweeter with a soft dome as well as two 6½” tweeters with an extended low frequency range.

The product includes a 2,500 Hz speaker inverter. The task of that set of filters (speaker inverter) used in speaker sets is to split the signal received by the speaker into a number of narrower bands so that they could be then sent to the correct speaker. That is an extremely important part of a loudspeaker, as a single speaker is not able to work over the entire acoustic bandwidth whilst delivering good or even mediocre quality. Thus, it is important that when buying a loudspeaker, one pays attention to details as these directly impact the functioning of the purchased product.

Device impedance, falls within the 4-8 Ohm range. That value indicates the technical compatibility of a speaker set and the amplifier. Impedance in the given range is a safe solution, a lower or higher value is not recommended. It specifies the relationship between current and voltage in AC circuits. Ill-matched impedance is unsafe for the device user, thus we always make sure our products are safe and user friendly.
